This tour is designed for those who really would like to see and enjoy Ephesus on a full day tour. Depart from port and drive to the House of St.Mary where is believed Virgin Mary spnet her last years in this little stone home on the mountain top near Ephesus. You will hear and learn more about the life of the Blessed Mary during the visits of the apostles to Ephesus. You pray, drink the hlooy water and make wishes on the wishing wall. Later, you will drive down to the hill through scenic view of Meander Valley and arrive at Ephesus upper gate. See the Odeon, agora, the Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre and walk along the marble roads of Ephesus where many Roman statutes and monuments are situated.

When your are in Ephesus, you should see the Terrace Houses that are newly excavated and show you the wealthy and happy life of the ancient Romans. You will be amazed with their life style, the art, mosaics and frescoes all around in these richly decorated homes. After leaving Ephesus, you stop at the Basilica Church of St.John, the Apostle, who was in Ephesus accompanied by the Blesses Virgin, in c 40. After his death c 100, he was buried in a small church on the hilltop (Ayasuluk Hill) which was replaced by a wooden-roofed basilica in the 4C. In the 6C the Emperor Justinian (527-565) built the magnificent structure whose remains are being studied and restored at present. Nearby the Church of St.John, you can also see the remains of the Temple of Artemis which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You can hear more about its history and see where Artemis and Diana were worshipped by the Ephesians in Greek and Roman times. Museum of Ephesus is a small building and today many pieces, statues and artyfacts from Ephesus are exhibited in nicely arranged halls of the museum. Later we can take you to an authentic vaillage of Sirince. Once settled and lived by the Greeks and today settled and still lived by the Turkish families who most of them came from Greece in early 1930s. You can taste the local food and wine at one of the small restaurants here and enjoy famous the Nomadic art and handcrfats of the locals. The village is reputable withs its home-made wine, ceramics, laces and leather products.
